RATED X is a fanlisting for the relationship between Jiraiya and Tsunade of the Naruto series.

Jiraiya and Tsunade were on the same team when they were younger. They were a lot like Naruto and Sakura, always bickering and demeaning each other. Now, in their fifties, they're much wiser and have teamed up many a time to face the other ex-member of their team, Orochimaru. Jiraiya is an erotic novel author and a pervert of epic proportions, whereas Tsunade is a renound healer that uses her chakra to sustain her 20-year-old image. In all truths, she'd look just as old as Jiraiya does at the current time, if she didn't work her magic. They have a much deeper and less light-hearted relationship than it seems, though. They've become very close over the years, and Jiraiya obviously admires her very much. Tsunade seems to care for him as well, though she's still grieving over the death of her last lover, Dan.

Jiraiya is offered the position of Hokage, though he turns it down and then convinces Tsunade to accept it. She'd aspired to be Hokage some time before, and though she'd given up on that dream for a long while, she had her chance then. This just goes to show how much faith and respect he has for her. She accepts the title and becomes the next leader of Konoha. They certainly have an interesting relationship, and I definitely think there are many feelings unsaid between the two. They've been through a lot together, and they deserve each other more and more with every incident and antic that progresses.
